Sunflower seeds are seen as a fruit from the sunflower plant. The seeds are harvested from the head of a large sunflower which could produce over a thousand seeds. Sunflower seeds are a super food because they contain many nutrients such as Vitamin E, Selenium, and various other vitamin and minerals. The seeds could be used to make: seed butter, seed patty, deserts, salads, trail mixes and could be used to make many other creative treats.
